Whenever I come to Japan, I can see a lot of Japanese people who have downcast eyes, despondent look and glum face.
Comparing to Indian whom I see here, they are vigorous, having vibrant personality, animated conversation, frisky nature, exuberant spirit, ebullient character, which is totally different from Japan.
When I arrive at Haneda Airport, I feel despondent mood. It is so different from India atmosphere and Japan atmosphere which is quiet and monotonous.
What happened to Japan?
I think people in this country and this generation have been changed due to some reason particularly working salaried workers taking on the company style for long term stint.
They are wondering whether I am not cut out for this job. enthusiasm has worn off and in the office and daily work, they shy away from making mistakes and always clam up at the meetings.
Some people try to carve out their careers by drawing on their experiences, and flirt with the ideas how to jump at the chances. But unfortunately, it does not pan out well. SO it cancels out hope. Then he will chicken out and brood over his past success. Finally, they cop out of life.
If they are in their late 40s or early 50s, they are in hot water and in a catch-22 situation to mull over for going out or remaining in the same company until retirement age. The retirement is 60 years old and they are still capable to work physically in good health by sweating it out to the end and slaving away. Reflecting his past working career, keeping his nose to the grindstone and working himself to the bone, he cannot keep his head temper and goes to pieces.
This is the typical Japanese workers mentality.

Young Indian generation prefer to get married at more older age year by year.
In the case of 40 years ago, 99 % of young women got hitched before 25 years old. Surprisingly, they took to the altar before the age of 18, counting the number of 50 %!
In the case of men, at that time, 16 %.
But nowadays, the recent survey shows, young women tie the not before 18 years old are only 17 %.
However, even still now, young women prefer to get married before 25 years old accounting 93 %, which is very different situation from Japan.

I have been living in Bangalore more than 6 years.
Compared to 6 years ago, year by year the traffic in the city has become worse and worse teeming with tremendous number of vehicles running and being appalled number of autorickshaws if you visit and see the first time in Bangalore. On the road everywhere in the city, cars, bikes and autos are crawling including caws.
If you see the sight this traffic thronged with vehicles, you may feel it like swarming with insects.
Accordingly, the air pollution became obnoxious. Already in Delhi, the air pollution is corroborated worst in the world by WHO, which is social stigma.
But the good news is that the state government is considering new legislation of banning 2-stroke engine autos running in the city. Because, 2-stroke engine spew out repugnant smell smoke.

As I am always pointing out it is very important to envisage what will happen in not only near future but also the long term future. But 5 years is not long term future.

One of serious projection is NO. 4 as Musk articulate his view. AI would get rid of human.
AI is, as you know, artificial Intelligence, which technology is growing drastically due to new concept of Deep Learning. Only two decade ago, AI was in winter stage because there was no tremendous progress in the area. But suddenly, for example, IBM Watson computer won over the human and became champion of TV show game contest. Also, Google is releasing self-driving car within 5 years. In that case, the social implication and ramification will be huge.
Imagine that teeming with a lot of driver-less car on the street in your town, what will happen.
Employment rate will be which rate? Then a lot of unemployment might happen, which would drive vast number of jobs from human and will propagate trepidation about future.
Brace for tough future society!
This week, I visited Oman for 5 days.
The purpose is to have some business meetings, but I spent one day for sightseeing.
I extended to visit 150 km location from Muscat.
There, I could see gigantic mountain strata laying obliquely having pinnacle of 2000 m.
In order to enter the area, there is a security gate and security guy is checking the vehicle should be 4WD. Normal vehicle can not enter.
The mountain road was magnificent, which is well organized and much better than Japanese mountain road. But must use 4WD reason is, in the past, a lot of traffic accident happened due to out of control of high speed vehicle by Omani drivers.
After getting up to zenith of mountain, there is gargantuan plateau from where I could saw 3000 m level mountain afar. Amazingly, even in middle east countries, there is this kind of abundant natural tourist attractions.
Maybe you cannot imagine this kind of mountain area exists in Oman.
In the case of Dubai, there is only desert of just teeming with sand.
But in Oman, there are mountains and beautiful sea and beach where you can do scuba diving. It has sea and mountain both.
When I saw the mountain landscape, I felt very cool of 18 centigrade a little bit cold, I was mesmerized and captivated by the impeccable pristine scenery which is breath taking and epic and colossal nature. This place show the story of earth billion years history, which describe vividly. There is also gorge and river. It is just like Grand Canyon in the US.

For mediocre people who is doing your mundane life and humdrum routine job everyday,
let me kindly point out it is a big tribulation for you in the future.
You will lose your job because of AI.
Even now you may feel forebodings about your future.
But I surmise from various data and information what will happen in future society .
Social implication of development of AI will spawn huge labor market crisis as the article

In the US, he is famous guy. But in Japan, he is only known by few.
Recently, Japanese economy is said lackluster. Moreover, Japanese people mentality is downcast.
Discrepancy between rich and poor is more expanding further year by year.
Can you imagine that SONY which were said excellent company is suffering huge loss and facing excruciating situation now? This is very symbolic fiasco corroborating there is no exception of even excellent company lasting euphoric time for ever.
In order to avoid bleak future of the country, only solution is innovation.
Nobody dismiss the importance of innovation. However, on the contrary, particularly said-excellent companies are facing “innovation dilemma”, because they cannot forget the past success and sticking to legacy way which worked well at that juncture. They cannot get out of the comfort zone. Then gradually, they are getting into deep pitfall and when they come to realize, it will be too late.
In Japan, that almost nobody knows Ray Kurzweil name is showing the Japan’s current situation, which means nobody envision the future after 20 years to 30 years from now on.
The singularity will happen around 2045, which one single computer capability exceeds all human brain of 9 billion. Ray Kurzweil deduce the future from the fact what happened in the past decades and extrapolate what will happen 30 years from now using such as Moore’s Law. His envision is very convincing for me.
Some people may say it is too optimistic view, but considering current situation what is happening such as driverless car or auto driving ( Google experiment is well known. ) Wearable computers and robot technology.
I am sure, after 30 years, things which mediocre person cannot imagine will happen.
Whether you can survive in the dramatic future is only up to you and how you can be ready from now.

I want to buy EV if I can buy a car now. But still it is eye-popping price around 80,000 USD.
But it is sports car not normal car. So let’s compare with Mercedes, BMW, Audi like luxurious car.
They are not so different from price point of view.
Particularly, for upscale consumers who can buy opulent goods like exorbitant pricey watch, lavish all around oversee traveling, eating out in inordinate restaurant, purchasing Tesla car is nothing for them. That’s why in the US movie star, famous celebrities are rushing to buy the car.
Above all, the Tesla car exhaust no CO2. For eco-friendly and environmental conscience people, EV is must buy.
If you see the structure, it is very simple with very few parts comparing legacy petrol car.
I am sure sooner or later, the price will plummet drastically within 5 years.
At that juncture, legacy automobile industries will suffer huge predicament unless taking some measure. Innovation is excruciating for those who does not make an effort and procrastinate to improve the current situation. After 10 years, if you regret why I did not take an action and I should have done something earlier, it will be too late.
As history shows a lot of excellent companies were annihilated.
